About Me

My name is Paris Morse, and I’m from the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. I enjoy traveling to new places around the world, visiting cats at the local Humane Society, and spending summers catching up with my high school friends. I create abstract art whenever I have time at home. My personal travel goals include visiting all 50 states, exploring as many national parks as possible, and exploring as many countries as I can. My life goal is to be a well-rounded, lifelong learner, and I plan to continue my education after a few years in the workforce.

Ouachita Baptist University has become my home away from home. I am currently in my last semester of college and will graduate in December 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. Although my college experience has been different from many others, I couldn’t have asked for a better time. Instead of partying my way through college, I chose to focus on myself and discover the kind of work I enjoy. I loved going to class to learn something new each day before heading to work in the afternoons. Some of my favorite classes have been microeconomics, macroeconomics, advertising and PR campaigns, and strategic management. As of May 2025, I have a GPA of 3.48.

My time at Ouachita has been filled with opportunities I am incredibly grateful for. My faith has grown, and I’ve learned to be comfortable in my skin. I am thankful for the relationships I’ve built in Arkadelphia and the community I’ve found here.

During my time at Ouachita, I have worked and volunteered each semester and summer. In October 2021, I began volunteering at the Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas, where I noticed a gap in external communications and offered to help improve it. Thanks to my boss, Gayla Parker, I was given the opportunity to create and serve in a new role as Marketing Coordinator. During my three and a half years at PRCSA, I also completed internships with Sidekick Creative Co., Dr. Tamara Miller Orthodontics, and Bakes By Bree. In March 2025, I transitioned from my volunteer Marketing Coordinator role to a paid position with Bakes By Bree, where I have served as Social Media Manager since January 2025. In this role, I manage all social media platforms, handle videography and photography, organize philanthropic events and pop-ups, and design advertisements, menus, and paper products.

From October 2021 to March 2025, I completed over 900 documented volunteer hours at the Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas. During that time, I collaborated with local churches, organizations at Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State, local nonprofits, and small businesses to raise funds, recruit volunteers, and spread awareness. In May 2025, I was honored to receive The Bill Elrod Service Award from Ouachita’s Elrod Center, recognizing strong leadership and a commitment to service while at Ouachita.

On July 6, 2017, my siblings and I purchased a storage facility in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, transitioning our stock investments into a commercial property venture. With the guidance of our parents, we have grown as business owners over the past eight years. We continue to operate the facility to help pay for college expenses while pursuing degrees in related fields. My brother is studying finance in Florida, and my sister plans to study engineering and art. With backgrounds in marketing, finance, and engineering, we plan to continue managing and expanding our storage facility business to build passive income for the future.
